Highschool Musical 3 drops the "haunted theme" ·
Jul 11, 12:08 PM by Ashley Fan

Though early reports that the upcoming High School Musical 3 movie was going to have a “haunted” theme, Ashley and other stars from the much loved series have confirmed that the haunted theme was nothing more than a short lived idea that producers had been throwing around.

I for one am quite relieved that the haunted theme idea has gone the way of the dodo…as I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t have worked too well with the story line. Early reports are saying that High School Musical 3 will be set in a ‘senior year’ setting with the characters we’ve all come to know and love giving us their final farewell.

HSM 3 has been confirmed and it’s going to be made, however as far as we know, none of the actors have officially signed on for the movie yet. Who knows, they may be waiting to see what the ratings of HSM 2 are like next month. Here’s what Ashley had to say about the situation:

“All I know is that there’s a ‘High School Musical 3,’ and we’re in talks,” Tisdale said of the negotiations. “We haven’t read the script. We would definitely want to read the script on it — all six of us. But yeah, we’d definitely love to do another one — that would be awesome.”

One Month Anniversary ·
Mar 6, 12:05 PM by Ashley Fan

Well it seem’s like we spent so much time waiting for “Headstrong” to be released that the past month has just flown on by…

Currently the album ranks #42 in sales with a total of 113,801 copies sold…

I wonder who bought the 113,801st album?

Today Jack D Elliot made a post on his myspace blog saying “I just finished remixing the new Ashley Tisdale single “Be Good To Me”. They changed it from “He Said, She Said” to “Be Good To Me”. I will upload it shortly.”

Sounds interesting, we will keep you posted!

Declining Album Sales ·
Feb 19, 09:51 PM by Ashley Fan

Unfortunately Ashley Tisdale’s album hasn’t been performing so well in its second week, currently headstrong has fallen to #34th spot with 27,542 copies being sold in the last 7 days.. What this means is album sales have declined a heft 56% (OUCH) for week 2.

Not before some of you start to worry about Ashley Tisdale’s future in music, do keep in mind it’s only 14 days since release and even if she only sells a few hundred thousand albums thats still a very impressive first release.

Poor Reviews of Headstrong ·
Feb 16, 06:15 AM by Ashley Fan

Unfortunately negative reviews of Headstrong have started pouring in, personally I didn’t mind the album.. I didn’t really expect it to be out of this world like some fans I mostly bought it to support Ashley’s career.

In today’s Buffalo Spectrum Laura Bacelli writes:

Where’s Simon Cowell when you need him? Someone needs to tell Ashley Tisdale to stick to acting.

Usually Disney does a good job breeding marketable hotties like Justin Timberlake and the infamous social disaster Britney Spears. Unfortunately, 21-year-old Tisdale can only be categorized as “hot.”

Her album “Headstrong” dropped Feb. 6 and is slowly pouring into the hands of pre-teens across the nation. These 12 tracks of synthesized heard-it-before pop tunes will be about as popular as 9 a.m. classes on Fridays. Ouch.

In yesterdays issue of The Eastern Progress, Brittany Davenport writes:

Ashley Tisdale’s debut album ‘Headstrong’ is so wrong

Ashley Tisdale is her name and sounding like any and every other underage pop start that hits the scene is her game, apparently.

I won’t lie. At first, I was so excited to hear her CD was coming out. “Headstrong” even seemed to be a neat title. I figured I’d get a little power girl punk, a la Ashlee Simpson. That’s some good stuff sometimes.

Instead it was ear-bleeding, oh baby give me some of you, husky, oohing and aahing that sounded like she just wanted to get up on some guy and show him a thing or two.
